This is definitely an awesome submission. At first I thought you were merely remaking the scenes presented in the DOA Ultimate Intro. After fully watching it, I see you were going for a different angle, and showing the complexities between the two sisters. and that came thru.. The fighting was definitely great, especially considering that it was with tweened characters. About the only thing that didn't work, was the voice acting for the ninja, which at times came off almost comical in tone. but aside from that, it was great. and you should definitely consider doing more pieces. Possibly with some original characters of your own design.

I absoluted loved the style direction of this music video.

the animation was so creatively tweened that at times elements almost looked 3D!!

my only suggestion is to tighten up the actual movement within that animation.
certain scenes couldve had more of a viceral "POP" had the moves been more violently exaggerated.

Im a big combo man type of player.
So it was alot of fun juggling the characters.

very quick and responsive game. loads of style cant wait for more!

my only gripe was the jump button being on the space bar.

the space bar isn't as responsive as the Keys.

A,S,D wouldve been a better set up.

While the whole dead baby story was lifted directly from Max Payne.

You failed to mentioned that the whole Gas station scene was lifted from Dead to Rights2. Not just the premise, everything, the characters the attacks, scene for scene.
Well this wasn't so bad, as you are only learning. But you stepped over the line for me, when you ripped Ed Skudders' run cycle from "Cigarette"
It's one thing to be influenced, and another inspired. But dont rip people off, thats just plain tacky....

I think you have the basis of a very awesome fighting engine!!

its very solid, and I thought the game was alot of fun. I only have a few minor complaints, and some bugs to report.

A couple of times I jumped over the opponent, and my character didn't turn around, I was stuck facing the wrong direction taking hits, till I jumped back. some times after the jump attack, the elf would get stuck mid air, and I was able to land alot of cheap shots this way.

aside from the elf who was already fairly quick.
the fast and fierce attacks weren't varied in enough... throwing a quick punch shouldnt take the same amount of time as throwing a fierce one. Aside from the Elf I wasn't able to let off a flurry of quick attacks, and end it with a fierce one. It would also help of the attacks were more visually different as well. as from that, the attacks needed more of an overal reach as well.

All in all a great fighting flash game. Closest so far to the arcades!!
