kudos for giving this a tackle mores orchestral sonic boss scores are almost always done of sonic 2 or 3 , but in my book the first sonic boss score was the best and most powerful.
sadly there are just some parts that just fall flat (like at the very end) but I think you are very close to nailing it.

well i am not quite sure but the parts that fall flat are probably the ones where the bass has zero notes and i did pretty much intend that effect cause i had the same impression of the original song.
well but maybe you were talking of something different.
