Blender can be a bitch sometimes. Also, I can't believe he's finally asserting his dominance

Wish I could help, but I have the exact same problem with blender, there's a basic human meta rig you can use but I have not figured out how to use it.

no sale, but thanks for the alloy ref

i wish i could help but i know nothing about blender or computer things. except usseing the net, drawing and buying stuff on amzon.

There's a NG 3d art server on Discord, here's a bbs link to the post. https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1475596 I suggest try poking around in there and see if anyone's willing to assist. Hope I can point you in the right direction, MC!

thanks!

Godnees, you are a legend =O .

Robots are the easiest to rig though, you don't need to worry about weight painting since the parts don't really bend. All you need to do is place the joints/bones correctly and make the part that moves around it a child of that joint/bone (assuming they're separate objects)

I would like to be able to use exaggerated squash and stretch, on top of that the forearms and calves are separate geometry that have to be skinned separately so as to allow for transformations.
and I would like to have a face rig as well, :)

ITS ALLOY WOOOOO
