Hmmm... It's a pity reading about the problem with the graffiti...
Isn't any way we, the people that made them, can optimize them or something?
(Althogh, I was aware of that and I didn't use gradients nor transparences and kept the nodes to a minimum... But I'll check the file once again just to see if something else can be done, any advice would be much appreciated.)

I think the only think I can do at this point is make a new Bus/train sprite for each piece of graffitti that won, the game is already pretty bloated with png art, so this shouldnt make much more of a difference

No, but seriously im sure you could find something along the lines of that in a ZEN. Cheap-ish mp3 player usually have big screens etc. If not, use a small lcd screen and link it up to something like that, pc and just put a visualiser up. or a portable tv :|

I love the idea of the model with the speakers and equalizer. Just a thought, but the possibly of putting flash on the media player and just running the NG equalizer? (It's still a computer... just extremely weak and small... and likely protection would have to be removed, like the iPhone to put decent programs on.) Would be pretty pimp bro.
However, the idea of no moving parts dissuades me. :'(
Possibility of small electric engine that moves back and forth a little, to have the arms and legs moving and jumping about. Maybe up and down circular motion for the arms, and small hydraulics in the legs to make the whole upper-body move up and down. (Would likely force you to buy some weird and $$$ hydraulic setup and force you to make the whole set up bigger) ^_^... possibly programmed to do so during some bass.
Possibly the top speakers somehow having some movement in them. (Just a thought, but, have them directly connected the the media player and have it programmed so it only sends them the signal on high-bass notes. Since speakers are just vibrating parts, and cheap speakers can be home made with a magnet and coated wiring, have it so it jumps/vibrates heavily... though it'd likely wear-out fast.)
I know what I suggest sounds impossible or near so to even myself, but then again, I'm just one of the millions of stupid kids who love NG and all it has to offer.
I doubt a simple mp3 player would have the processing power to run the music, equalizer, and run programs for hydraulics in the legs, electric engines in the arms, and independent home brew speakers on the shoulders. The power usage would have to be more along the lines of a small laptop battery, or a power cord. I'd think the hydraulics programming and power usage would probably be the hardest challenge. For the hydraulic set up, light thin metal or something else would have to be used. Maybe a magnesium compound thin sheet metal for the general body (light and stronger than aluminum). If something like a magnesium compound was used, I don't believe it'd need a heavy skeleton either, because the sheet metal would be able to support most of the weight.
I'm thinking the whole setup would be about 1.5 feet tall. Clay modeling would be thrown out the window...
This would, however, be a simple for Newgrounds :P
To show that we're not all a bunch of stupid, bored, illiterate and lazy mix of mainly kids and a few under mature adults... just most of us. If a NG pool started up toward the building of this, I'd think I'd throw a few bucks in myself.
Some believe symbols are useless, however, I do not. Were would NG be without Pico? I have used numerous gigs of NG bandwidth over about 8 (I think) years now, and Pico's school started it all for me. Without Pico, I might have been hard working, motivated in life, cared about something, non-apathetic, value human life, not mentally unstable, non whitebrownn***ajewasionhinduchristian hatin (hate them all right, I support equal opportunity!) racist etc., and I'm damn happy I'm not. A life like that is just fucking dull. Because of NG, I know who I am, a kid trying to just have some damned fun in life (and not a damned thing else matters). Also without NG, I likely would have applied to college (I could easily get in I believe), but I'm not... because NG has helped me learn that you're always learning, not just in a classroom, and that formal education isn't always more productive.
To some people, NG has some vids, some games, some music, some pr0n, and forums that'll eat you alive even if you post in them once, but for others, it's much more, NG itself is a symbol... a symbol for "Just have some fucking fun!"

Your last movie was also sick bro, I've watched it several times now. Sometimes you need to throw formality out, and just get it done. Smoothness isn't always the best approach. You have soooo much more freedom to do whatever the hell you want if you stop worrying about making it damned perfect. as for the hydrulics it is possible if I have it created using a light material just as what was used for PBot, but I basically have my sights set on what Abot will be able to do.
and thats, transform, playmusic, and light up,. maybe the hydraulics thing will come into play when I start mapping out my next figure.
but for now, I have all the bases covered and just need to finish my 3d render of a working Abot so I know how to appoach the parts.
And yeah, NG means alot more to me too.

you're always one for being harsh to people, what do you think about the arguments over egoraptors cartoons? are they overrated, poorly drawn movies with little effort, or funny well animated cartoons with great facial expressions and voice acting to you?
egoraptor is an amazing talent, and after seeing what he can do, I can safely say most of what he gets frontpaged is poorly drawn and overrated in an artistic sense. But its still funny , quality flash, in the sense that theres actual thought put into it, just not effort.. I think even he would admit that. So all we can do is wait for the real stuff hes working on to come down the pipe. Of course people that dont find his shit funny will always consider it crap. Thats just the name of that game, not everyone will like his stuff.
