Wow, you told me the idea at the con and boy did you execute. How closely did it come out like you envisioned it in your head? The shot with tom running and the paper flying around looked great. Some high budget movie shot for real! How did you get that slow down with out it looking choppy. Did you film at 48 fps or something? You need to do a full length p-dot movie. Live Action!
thanks man, theres a few shots missing but for the most part its there. I shot tom on 60i then slowed it down to 24, then used a filter to make it a tiny bit slower.

BRILLIANT movie with BRILLIANT lighting and camera effects. I especially like the part in which Tom dashes out of his desk and runs down toward the basement, his back toward the camera and papers flying everywhere. Nothing beats your stereotypical dramatic slo-mo office run scene.
By the way, was P-bot an actual remote-controlled robot or 3-D animated?
the movement was done in 3d, but we do actually have a pbot prop, hes about 4 feet tall made of hard foam, very delicate.
You can clearly see the bottle of goo in the last part after Tom says 'It's beautiful. I got very scared looking at that.
You should have stuck with doing Pbot as a puppet because to be honest the cgi looks a little fake.
