looks more like a touched up photo than a drawing. maybe add more brushstrokes so it isnt so obvious how heavily traced it is

Thanks MindChamber. It was a hard work for me. I started draw with colors (without outlines) not so long ago, it's just one step for my progress. I don't feel myself in natural way to draw stuff like portraits or something. Yeah, maybe I will add some, maybe it needs some more contrast. I was watching at girl's photo, but didn't used it as main layer or something, but I wanted at first. Well, I feel fine with the result of this drawing. Thanks for review.

Those were the days. using my google money for prizes hehe. Im glad we moved the contest over to NG though, way bigger turn out and better competition.

I still love this piece of yours, its one of your first pieces that really blew me away.

why is he missing feet?

are you simply omitting parts you cant draw, or is this bandit a ghost? its pretty obvious this was heavily reference. Even still the volume on the sloppy hatchet job you did with the shading is distracting and ugly.

The bend on the left arm is flat, theres no forshortening or volume on that forearm, making it look almost cartoony. same goes for the hand and its lack of bone structure.

learn some anatomy.

Ive seen 16 year olds in highschool with better a better grasp of the human anatomy.

get back to them studies.
