Ive been working on several Pitch Bibles and this video helped me the most.

Thought I'd Share (Disregard the crazed look on her face, she knows what shes talking about)

And heres a page about Loglines one of the most important aspects of a pitch bible. Then you gotta ask yourself is your story high-concept?

Oh yeah, and support this Kickstarter, looks like its gonna be fun!

Sup guys

I did some UI art and animated some 3d Zombies (I didnt model them though) for this mini game with some great guys out in NJ. And it finally came out for the ipad/iphone

I also modeled and animated the POV weapons which was a first time for me. so apologies if any of it comes off janky.
it was a fun change of pace from flash though.

The mini-game is available for free, so do me a fav, could you grab it and rate? and get back to me and let me know how it plays. ( I dont have an iphone or ipad :/)

For the record, should I die, I want people to make flashes chastising me for my robot obsession, ridiculing me for my transformers collection, for my internet rages, and what ever nonsense you can dig up about me that made me who I am. Im an old school animator with shakey shitty art, loves dubstep and terrible grammar.

Or Ill come back as Assassin's Creed' Robocop and hunt you down.

Congrats to Rog and Nickand everyone else who contributed to this immense game.
I happened to be on the bowl reading my new GI magazine when I came across the 2 page article.

great job guys, it really put a big grin on my face to see some NGer's have one of their flash games hang with the bigboys.!

Pico's Unloaded, and With my minds Madness in particular.
,
Granted these toons are OLLLD, 8 years and 4 years respectively but it really is hypocritical of me to push so hard for the audio portal and insist that flash authors collaborate with musicans when two of my oldest and well known toons have copyrighted music.

well heres a chance for that awesome NG composer to change the look and feel of one my older toons and make them feel fresh again in the process, it doesn't have to be any specific genre. just do what you think fits, and it creates some emotional weight.

Obviously I will be adding a music and composer credit to the submission as well as the flash itself.

here are the youtube versions of each cartoon

Pico's Unloaded
Mind's Madness

that should help you time out your music. Should you need to have the actual file

use this site to download the vids from youtube.

http://keepvid.com/

Also having original music will allow Tom to upload these animations to the NG Roku channel and other sites such as vimeo.

So if any one is bored, has some free time, and feel they could better capture the mood of the toons than the music used Id say go for it. I don't really have any loot to drop on to the table but I'd definitely be willing to collab with that composer and possibly add visuals to thier next audio submission.

So when you're done, just upload it to the audio portal and place your link in the comments section.
thanks again

Good luck and remember to have fun.

Would anyone be interested in re-scoring some of my older toons?

Game Jam 6 is offically over and theres still plenty of games to be played.

Its been a while since I crunched on a game like this in such a short time,
It was tiring, and fun.

Matt, James, and Red, were alot of fun to work with.

Give Trippin' Kitchen a go when you have the time.

Matt has plans to update it with some of the features we missed or passed up for the sake of time, so make sure to post all your critques, bugs, and suggestions in the reviews section, anything that can help make this a better game!..

As soon as he gets some sleep that is :3

in the meantime, enjoy dem floppy Mammos,

Trippin' Kitchen is Bitchin'

Here I am halfway through my life cycle and Im dont think Ive ever been as invested into a single genre/style of music as much as dubstep. What the fuck is it? I love all the old songs from my time, but never has a type of music spoken to me as directly as dubstep.

Its the sounds of robots talking, its a subliminal intergalactic message from Aliens, what ever it is, it makes my hairs stand on end, my eyeballs roll back, and my chest hurt.

when dubstep samples contemporary music it files it down to a nice sharp polish. Most of the time pulling out the very essence of the song thats lost its meaning by the time its even released

Then it takes that pure crystal of emotion smashes it to the ground and chains it back together for its own nefariousness means.

To me the soundscape of dubstep is a glitched out, wobbled mirror world of our dull existence. A surreal world of magic and purity, that can be seen and felt without drugs (though Im sure they help).
Sometimes, it makes me extremely angry, or extremely sad, and even at times invincible. I never saw my self as bi-polar but play some dubstep, and I start glitchin in and out of emotions faster then a broken NPC in LA Noir.

The sounds used in dubstep not only pleases but physically moves me, It's probably the closest feeling Ill get to being hit with magic from Wizards we only read about in our fairytales.
With each wobble, growl, push ,glitch and reverb, I feel my soul pulled from my body, then slammed backed so hard my lungs are pushed up my chest.
I finally understand what it must've felt to be one of those fainting Micheal Jackson fans at a concert.
While I have yet to pass out from the sheer power that is dubstep, it does tend to build up in me , the pressure tighter than diving 30 feet underwater. I usually have no choice but to yell out WHOOOOOO, like Cole train from gears of war, in order to relieve the pressure.

Some say dubstep is just a type of DJing and not a form of music, and for some that may be.

But for those producers that know the magic of dubstep, the ones that know how to do it right.

They are more than producers, they are the messengers of Gods.

I fuckin love dubstep.

Epic Sax guy
Leaves
Derezzed
Take Me away
Juggernaut

and the list goes on.

In other news, The short movie I made over july was nominated for 3 awards at the projecttwenty1 Film festival,

Best Concept,
Best use of the Element, (you're given a phrase or word that you must incorporate into the short)
and Best animation.

I won for Best Concept, (yay)

*PS the music used in this trailer was made by DjMossy

I was lucky enough to enlist the talents of a few NG celebs

CosmicDeath really tore it up as the main character.
Timmy did an excellent job as supporting actor
Oskua helped me with compositing and materials
RicePirate ripped it with his voice over narration

and shadow6nothing9's music really tied everything together perfectly.

So I wanna give a big thanks and a huge shout out to these guys for all their help.
hopefully we can do something again next year, or hell possibly sooner, making short films is
easily more frustrating and yet just as rewarding (at times moreso) than doing animated skits.

I'm still unsure how it works pertaining to uploading the full short for the public as the festival has the short on DVD for sale shortly after, but once I know I can Ill link to it.

PS: anyone interested in seeing the full short, vote Ten Please lol
